Frequently asked questions about enrolling at St Pius X School

We accept enrolments at any stage throughout the year. It is advisable to enrol your child at least 12 - 18 months prior to them starting school. The earlier you enrol your child, the greater chance you have of ensuring a place for your child.

St Pius X offers a Reception intake at the beginning of the School Year and also at the beginning of Term 3.

Children who turn 5 on or before the 30th of April are eligible to start school at the beginning of the year.

Children who turn 5, between May the 1st and October 31st are eligible to start school at the beginning of Term 3, or they can commence at the beginning of the following year. The decision about starting children in Reception in Term 3 is a parental decision.

Yes. We understand that choosing a school for your child is a big decision. Our Principal or Deputy Principal will be happy to give you a personal tour of the school and answer any questions you have about our educational offerings.

You can book a private tour of the school by either contacting the school here or via phone or email  . Someone from our school will contact you and arrange a time that suits you to come in and have tour.

We recommend touring the school during school hours so that you get to see the school in action, however we know that this is not always possible for some families and therefore tours outside of school hours are also offered. We will work with you to find a time that is suitable.

St Pius X School does not charge a fee to submit an enrolment application form.

An enrolment deposit is required once a family decides to accept an offer of enrolment in order to secure your child’s place, however this deposit is deducted from the first set of school fees once your child commences school.
