Our Parish

St Pius X School is part of the Dernancourt Catholic Parish. Our church is located at 17 Avoca Street, Dernancourt.  The parish is administered by the Oblates of Mary Immaculate (OMI). The word 'oblate' comes from the latin word 'oblatus' meaning a full offering of oneself and therefore dedicated to, set aside for. The OMI are a religious congregation of priests, brothers 'set aside' for missionary work for the Catholic Church under the patronage of Our Lady, Mary Immaculate. 

We enjoy a close relationship with our parish Eucharistic community and actively support the work of the St Vincent de Paul Dernancourt Conference.
The school works in partnership with the Parish when offering the Sacramental Program.  This is provided for Catholic children who wish to and are ready to receive the sacraments of Reconciliation, First Holy Communion and Confirmation. 

Weekend Mass times are celebrated on Saturday (Vigil) 6:30pm and Sunday 9:30am and 5:30pm.
